The Al-Sahlah Mosque, located in Kufa, Iraq, is one of the most significant and historic mosques in the region. It is believed to have been established in the 7th century and holds great religious importance for Shia Muslims. According to tradition, the mosque is associated with several prophets and religious figures, including Prophet Abraham, Prophet Idris (Enoch), and Imam Ali, the first Shia Imam. The mosque is also believed to be a place where the 12th Imam, Muhammad al-Mahdi, will reappear. The architecture of the Al-Sahlah Mosque features a large courtyard surrounded by arcades, with a central dome and minarets that add to its historical and spiritual ambiance.
