The Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Novosibirsk, Russia, is a prominent Russian Orthodox church built in the late 19th century. Constructed between 1897 and 1899, it stands as one of the first stone buildings in the city. The cathedral is dedicated to Saint Alexander Nevsky, a revered Russian historical figure and saint. Its architectural style reflects traditional Russian church design, with striking red brickwork and ornate domes. Despite suffering damage and being repurposed during the Soviet era, the cathedral was restored and reopened for worship in 1989, coinciding with the millennium of the Christianization of Kievan Rus'.
