The Alexandrinsky Theatre, located in Saint Petersburg, Russia, is one of the oldest national theatres in the country, established in 1756 by decree of Empress Elizabeth. Designed by renowned architect Carlo Rossi, the theatre building itself is an architectural masterpiece, epitomizing the grandeur of Russian neoclassical design.
