Amsterdamse Poort in Haarlem, Netherlands, is a historic city gate that dates back to the 14th century. It is the only remaining gate of the original 12 that once surrounded the city. This medieval structure, also known as the Amsterdam Gate, showcases Gothic architectural elements and has been meticulously preserved over the centuries. The gate served as a significant defensive feature and a main entrance to the city from Amsterdam.
