The Ancient Theatre of Taormina, located in Taormina, Italy, is an impressive Greco-Roman structure that dates back to the 3rd century BC. Originally constructed by the Greeks, it was later expanded and renovated by the Romans. The theatre is renowned for its breathtaking views, offering a stunning backdrop of Mount Etna and the Mediterranean Sea. With a seating capacity of around 5,000 spectators, it was historically used for dramatic performances and gladiatorial contests.
