Annapurna Conservation Area in Nepal is the country's largest protected region, encompassing a diverse range of ecosystems, cultures, and landscapes. Covering an area of 7,629 square kilometers, it includes some of the world's highest peaks, such as Annapurna I, and stretches from subtropical forests to alpine meadows. The area is renowned for its trekking routes, including the famous Annapurna Circuit and Annapurna Sanctuary treks, which offer breathtaking views and a chance to experience the rich cultural heritage of the local Gurung, Thakali, and Manangba communities.
