This natural wonder is divided into two sections: Upper Antelope Canyon (or "The Crack") and Lower Antelope Canyon (or "The Corkscrew"). The canyons were formed over thousands of years by the erosion of Navajo Sandstone, primarily due to flash flooding and other sub-aerial processes.
