Avala Tower, located on Mount Avala near Belgrade, Serbia, is a prominent telecommunications and observation tower. Standing at 204.5 meters (671 feet) tall, it is the tallest structure in the Balkans. Originally built in 1965, the tower was destroyed during the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia in 1999. It was subsequently reconstructed and reopened in 2010.
