Badaling is one of the most well-preserved and well-known sections of the Great Wall of China, located approximately 80 kilometers northwest of Beijing. This section of the wall was originally built during the Ming Dynasty and has been extensively restored to showcase the architectural grandeur of the Great Wall. Badaling is popular among tourists due to its accessibility and the panoramic views it offers of the surrounding landscapes.
