The Basilica of San Gavino in Porto Torres, Italy, is an impressive Romanesque church that dates back to the 11th century. It is the oldest and largest Romanesque church in Sardinia. The basilica is dedicated to Saints Gavinus, Protus, and Januarius, who were early Christian martyrs. One of its unique features is the dual apses, located at both ends of the nave, which is quite uncommon in church architecture. The interior of the basilica is adorned with beautiful arches and columns, and it also houses important archaeological relics and ancient Roman sarcophagi.
