The Belvedere in Vienna, Austria, is a historic complex of palaces and gardens that exemplifies Baroque architecture. It consists of two main palaces, the Upper and Lower Belvedere, which were constructed in the early 18th century as the summer residence for Prince Eugene of Savoy.
