Bohus Fortress is a historical fortification located in Kungälv, Sweden. Constructed in 1308 by King Haakon V of Norway, it served as a strategic defense point against invasions and played a significant role in the territorial disputes between Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. The fortress has witnessed numerous sieges and battles, yet it has never been conquered. Its massive stone walls and well-preserved structures offer a glimpse into medieval military architecture.
