The Bridge of Lies in Sibiu, Romania, is a historic pedestrian bridge and one of the city's most famous landmarks. Built in 1859, it is the oldest cast-iron bridge in Romania. The bridge connects the Upper Town and Lower Town of Sibiu, spanning over a small street. It is adorned with intricate ironwork and offers scenic views of the charming medieval architecture in the area. The name "Bridge of Lies" is derived from various local legends, including tales that the bridge would creak and collapse if someone told a lie while standing on it.
