Brienne-le-Château is a charming commune located in the Aube department in the Grand Est region of northeastern France. Known for its historical significance, the town is perhaps most famous for its connections to Napoleon Bonaparte, who attended the military school there in the late 18th century. The Château de Brienne, a grand castle that now houses a museum dedicated to Napoleon, is a key attraction in the area.
