Buada Lagoon is a scenic, freshwater lagoon located in the Buada District, which is adjacent to the Yaren District on the island nation of Nauru. This unique, landlocked body of water is surrounded by lush vegetation, including pandanus and coconut trees, creating a verdant oasis amidst the otherwise arid landscape of the island. The lagoon's waters support a variety of wildlife and plant species, making it a vital ecological and cultural site for the local population. Historically, it has served as an important freshwater resource for the island’s inhabitants.
