Burghley House is a grand 16th-century country house located near Stamford in Lincolnshire, England. Built between 1555 and 1587 by Sir William Cecil, the first Lord Burghley and chief minister to Queen Elizabeth I, the house is a stunning example of Elizabethan architecture.
