Calima Lake, also known as Calima Reservoir, is an artificial lake located in the Valle del Cauca department of Colombia. Created by the construction of the Calima Dam, the lake serves multiple purposes including hydroelectric power generation, water supply, and recreation. Surrounded by lush green hills and a temperate climate, it has become a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts, particularly windsurfing and kitesurfing, thanks to its strong and consistent winds.
