Cangandala National Park, located in the Malanje Province of Angola, is the country's smallest national park and one of its most significant conservation areas. Established in 1963, the park spans approximately 630 square kilometers and is primarily known for its efforts to protect the critically endangered giant sable antelope, a national symbol of Angola. The landscape of Cangandala National Park is characterized by a mix of miombo woodland, open grasslands, and riverine environments, providing a diverse habitat for various flora and fauna.
