The Cantalloc Aqueducts, located near Nazca, Peru, are an impressive example of ancient engineering. Constructed by the Nazca culture around 1,500 years ago, these aqueducts were designed to transport water from underground sources to arid agricultural fields, ensuring a reliable water supply in one of the driest regions on Earth. The system includes a series of spiraling stone-lined channels, known as "puquios," which tap into subterranean aquifers.
