Carew Castle, located in Pembrokeshire, Wales, is a striking medieval fortress with a rich history dating back over 2,000 years. It stands prominently on the banks of a tidal millpond, offering picturesque views and a glimpse into the past. The castle's origins can be traced to the Norman conquest, and it has undergone many transformations throughout the centuries, reflecting various architectural styles from Norman to Elizabethan. Notable features include the impressive Great Hall, the 11th-century keep, and the unique tidal mill, which is one of only four in the UK.
