The Castellana Caves, located in Bari, Italy, are a stunning series of karst cave formations renowned for their incredible natural beauty. Discovered in 1938 by speleologist Franco Anelli, the caves extend for approximately 3 kilometers and reach depths of over 120 meters. Visitors can explore a variety of fascinating chambers adorned with stalactites, stalagmites, and unique rock formations. Highlights include the spectacular White Cave, known for its pure white alabaster walls, and the vast Grotta Bianca, often considered one of the most beautiful caves in the world.
