The Castle of Barletta, located in Barletta, Italy, is a historic fortress with origins tracing back to the Norman period in the 11th century. Over the centuries, it has undergone numerous modifications and expansions, particularly during the reign of Emperor Frederick II and later under the Aragonese and Spanish dominations. The castle features a distinctive quadrilateral shape with four corner bastions, a moat, and a large inner courtyard.
