The Castle of Ripaille in Thonon-les-Bains, France, is a historic estate that dates back to the 15th century. Originally constructed by Amadeus VIII, Duke of Savoy, the castle served as a retreat and hunting lodge. Over the centuries, it has witnessed a varied history, including periods of monastic occupation and private ownership. Today, Ripaille is known not only for its architectural grandeur and picturesque setting on the shores of Lake Geneva but also for its vineyards, which produce renowned wines.
