The Castle of Serravalle, also known as the Malaspina Castle, is a historic fortress located in Bosa, Italy. Constructed in the 12th century by the Marquis of Malaspina, the castle sits atop Serravalle Hill, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and the Temo River. Its strategic position was intended to protect the town and its inhabitants from invaders. The castle features well-preserved medieval architecture, including robust stone walls and defensive towers. Inside the fortress, visitors can explore the remains of the ancient chapel of Nostra Signora de Sos Regnos Altos, adorned with fascinating frescoes from the 14th century.
