The Cathedral of St. Bartholomew in Plzeň, Czech Republic, is a striking Gothic structure that dominates the city’s main square, náměstí Republiky. Construction began in the late 13th century and continued into the 16th century, resulting in a blend of architectural styles. One of its most notable features is its towering spire, which, at 102.26 meters (335.5 feet), is the tallest church spire in the Czech Republic. The interior houses a beautiful altar with a statue of the Madonna of Plzeň, a revered Gothic sculpture.
