Château d'Ussé, located in the commune of Rigny-Ussé in France's Indre-et-Loire department, is a striking example of French Renaissance architecture. Often referred to as the "Sleeping Beauty Castle," it is believed to have inspired Charles Perrault's famous fairy tale. The château's origins date back to the 11th century, but it was extensively rebuilt in the 15th and 16th centuries. Surrounded by lush gardens designed by André Le Nôtre, the château features a mix of Gothic, Renaissance, and Classical architectural styles.
