Chetumal is a city located in the southeastern part of Mexico, serving as the capital of the state of Quintana Roo. It is situated on the Yucatán Peninsula, near the border with Belize. Known for its rich history and cultural significance, Chetumal has evolved from a small fishing village to a vibrant urban center. The city is famed for its beautiful coastal scenery along the Bay of Chetumal, as well as its proximity to various Mayan archaeological sites.
