Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is renowned for being the highest zoo in the United States, sitting at an elevation of 6,714 feet above sea level. Established in 1926, it offers a unique mountain setting that allows visitors to experience diverse exhibits and breathtaking views. The zoo is home to over 750 animals representing nearly 150 species, including rare and endangered species.
