Choto Sona Mosque, located in Chapai Nawabganj Sadar Upazila, Bangladesh, is an exquisite example of medieval Islamic architecture in the region. Constructed during the Sultanate period in the 15th century, this mosque is renowned for its intricate terracotta ornamentation and richly decorated mihrabs. The name "Choto Sona" translates to "Small Golden" in Bengali, likely referring to the once gilded domes that adorned the structure.
