Church of Saint Lazarus

The Church of Saint Lazarus in Larnaca, Cyprus, is a significant historical and religious landmark. Built in the late 9th century, it stands on the reputed site of the second tomb of Saint Lazarus, who, according to Christian tradition, was resurrected by Jesus. The church is an excellent example of Byzantine architecture, featuring a blend of Gothic and Baroque elements due to various renovations over the centuries. Inside, visitors can admire its beautiful icons, frescoes, and the ornate iconostasis.
