Comoé National Park, located in the northeastern region of Ivory Coast, is one of the largest protected areas in West Africa, spanning over 11,500 square kilometers. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the park is renowned for its diverse ecosystems, ranging from savannas to dense forests, and is named after the Comoé River that runs through it. This rich biodiversity supports a wide array of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, hippos, and numerous bird species. The park's varying habitats make it an important area for both conservation efforts and ecological research.
