Conímbriga is one of the largest and best-preserved Roman settlements in Portugal, located in the municipality of Condeixa-a-Nova. This archaeological site offers a fascinating glimpse into Roman life with its well-preserved ruins, including intricate mosaics, baths, an amphitheater, and residential areas. Conímbriga was inhabited from the Iron Age through the Roman period and into the early Middle Ages, showcasing a rich historical layering.
