The Court Church, or Hofkirche, in Innsbruck, Austria, is a significant historical and architectural landmark. Built in the 16th century, it is renowned for its stunning Renaissance design and its role as a monument to Emperor Maximilian I. The church houses the impressive cenotaph of the emperor, which is surrounded by 28 larger-than-life bronze statues of his ancestors, relatives, and heroes. These statues, known as the "Schwarzmander" or "black men," are masterpieces of sculpture and give the church a distinctive and solemn atmosphere.
