Cousin Island is a small granitic island located approximately 2 kilometers off the west coast of Praslin Island in Seychelles. It is renowned for its remarkable biodiversity and has been designated as a Special Reserve since 1975. The island serves as a critical sanctuary for a variety of endemic and endangered species, including the Seychelles warbler and the hawksbill turtle.
