Cracker Lake is a stunning glacial lake located in Glacier National Park, Montana, USA. Known for its striking turquoise color, the lake is set against a backdrop of rugged mountains and dense forests. The vibrant hue of the water is due to the fine glacial silt suspended in it, which reflects sunlight. Cracker Lake is accessible via a moderately challenging 12.6-mile round-trip hike that begins at the Many Glacier Hotel. Along the trail, hikers are treated to breathtaking views, including meadows filled with wildflowers, towering peaks, and the occasional wildlife sighting.
