Crveni Krst concentration camp, located in Niš, Serbia, was established by the German occupying forces during World War II. It operated from 1941 to 1944 and was primarily used for the incarceration of political prisoners, resistance fighters, and Jews. The camp became notorious for its harsh conditions, brutal treatment, and mass executions. It is estimated that thousands of people were imprisoned in Crveni Krst, many of whom were later executed or transferred to other concentration camps.
