Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the central part of Sri Lanka. This ancient complex of five caves has been a place of worship for over two millennia and is renowned for its impressive collection of Buddhist murals and statues. The cave temples are adorned with intricate paintings depicting the life of Buddha, as well as statues of various deities and historical figures.
