De Haar Castle is a stunning neo-Gothic castle located near Utrecht in the Netherlands. Originally built in the 14th century, the castle underwent extensive restoration and reconstruction in the late 19th century under the guidance of Dutch architect Pierre Cuypers. The renovation was commissioned by the affluent Rothschild family, who transformed the castle into a luxurious residence replete with lavish interiors and expansive gardens. De Haar Castle is renowned for its fairy-tale appearance, complete with turrets, moats, and drawbridges.
