Death Valley is a desert valley located in Eastern California, within the Mojave Desert. It is known for its extreme temperatures, often recognized as one of the hottest places on Earth. The valley boasts a unique landscape featuring salt flats, sand dunes, badlands, valleys, and mountains. One of its most famous landmarks is Badwater Basin, the lowest point in North America at 282 feet below sea level. Death Valley is also home to a variety of wildlife and plant species that have adapted to the harsh environment.
