Doctor's Cave Beach Club in Montego Bay, Jamaica, is one of the most famous beaches on the island, known for its pristine white sands and crystal-clear turquoise waters. The beach's origins date back to the early 20th century when Dr. Alexander James McCatty donated his beach property to establish a bathing club. Its name, "Doctor's Cave," derives from a cave that was once accessible from the beach, which has since been destroyed by a hurricane. The beach gained international fame when a noted British osteopath, Sir Herbert Barker, claimed that the waters had curative properties.
