Donskoy Monastery in Moscow, Russia, is a historic and significant religious site founded in 1591. It was established to commemorate the Russian victory over the Crimean Tatars and is dedicated to the icon of Our Lady of the Don. The monastery complex features stunning examples of Russian architecture, including the large cathedral built in the 17th century and several smaller churches.
