Erice is a picturesque medieval town located in the province of Trapani in Sicily, Italy. Perched atop Mount Erice at an elevation of approximately 750 meters, the town offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes, including the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Egadi Islands. Erice is renowned for its well-preserved historic architecture, cobblestone streets, and charming atmosphere. Key attractions include the ancient Norman castle, Castello di Venere, built on the ruins of a temple dedicated to the goddess Venus, and the numerous churches, such as the Chiesa Madre.
