Esztergom Basilica, situated in Esztergom, Hungary, is the largest church and the tallest building in the country. Officially known as the Primatial Basilica of the Blessed Virgin Mary Assumed Into Heaven and St Adalbert, it serves as the seat of the Catholic Church in Hungary. The basilica is notable for its immense dome, which stands at 100 meters high, providing breathtaking views of the Danube River and the surrounding area. Construction began in 1822 and was completed in 1869, blending various architectural styles, including Classicism and Baroque. The interior houses impressive artworks, including the altarpiece by Michelangelo Grigoletti and the largest organ in Hungary.
