Filitosa is a prehistoric site located near the town of Propriano in southern Corsica, not far from Ajaccio. It is renowned for its collection of megalithic structures and menhirs, which date back to between 3300 and 1600 BCE. The site features intricately carved stone statues that depict human figures, some of which are believed to represent ancient warriors. These statues provide valuable insights into the early human societies that once inhabited the region.
