Fongafale is the largest islet in the atoll of Funafuti, which is part of the island nation of Tuvalu. It serves as the administrative center and capital of Tuvalu, housing the majority of the country's population and government institutions. The islet features a mix of traditional and modern infrastructure, including the Vaiaku Lagi Hotel, Tuvalu's only hotel, and the Funafuti International Airport, which connects the nation to the outside world.
