Fort Morgan is a historic masonry star fort located at the mouth of Mobile Bay, Alabama, USA. Completed in 1834, it played significant roles in the American Civil War, particularly during the Battle of Mobile Bay in 1864, where Union forces successfully breached Confederate defenses. The fort continued to be used for military purposes through World War II before being decommissioned and turned into a state historic site.
