Fort Oranje is a historic fortification located in Oranjestad, the capital of Sint Eustatius in the Caribbean Netherlands. Constructed by the Dutch in the early 17th century, around 1636, the fort played a crucial role in the island's strategic defense against various European powers. Named after the Dutch royal House of Orange, Fort Oranje boasts well-preserved ramparts, cannons, and bastions that offer a glimpse into the island's colonial past.
