Fredrik Church, also known as Fredrikskyrkan, is a notable Baroque-style church located in Karlskrona, Sweden. It was designed by the renowned architect Nicodemus Tessin the Younger and consecrated in 1744. The church is named after King Frederick I of Sweden and is situated in the central square of Karlskrona, known as Stortorget. Its distinctive architectural features include a high tower, elegant facades, and an impressive interior decorated with beautiful altarpieces and intricate woodwork.
