Freycinet National Park, located on the east coast of Tasmania, is a stunning natural reserve known for its dramatic coastal landscapes, pink granite peaks, and pristine beaches. Established in 1916, it is one of Tasmania’s oldest and most renowned national parks. The park is home to the iconic Wineglass Bay, consistently ranked among the world’s best beaches for its unique crescent shape and crystal-clear waters. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities such as hiking, birdwatching, and kayaking. The Hazards, a range of striking pink granite mountains, provide a picturesque backdrop to the park's diverse flora and fauna, including white-bellied sea eagles, wallabies, and echidnas.
