Fulufjället National Park, located in central Sweden, is renowned for its unique natural beauty and significant ecological value. Established in 2002, the park encompasses around 385 square kilometers of diverse landscapes, including ancient forests, expansive plateaus, and dramatic waterfalls. One of its most notable features is the Njupeskär waterfall, which, at 93 meters, is one of the highest in Sweden. The park is also home to the world’s oldest known living tree, Old Tjikko, a Norway spruce estimated to be over 9,500 years old. Fulufjället offers a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, with numerous hiking trails and opportunities for wildlife watching, including species such as moose, lynx, and various birds.
